NORWAY, A SEAFOOD NATION
We have been blessed as a nation by our unique location,
where the cold Arctic waters meet the warm Gulf Stream…
OUR NATURE
As a nation we have been blessed with a unique location, where the cold waters from the Artic ocean meet the warmth of the Gulf Stream. This gives our coastline with deep protective fjords just the right currents and temperature for quality seafood production.
OUR CULTURE
We are a nation sustained by seafood. We grow up fishing and eating what we catch due to the sea beeing our neighbour next door. For us, aquaculture is not just a part of our past, – it’s what we plan our future to consist of as well.
OUR COUNTRY
The way our country is shaped allows us to supply the world with seafood; today and in the future. Our research, technology, infrastructure and politics allow us to maintain the resources of the sea in a sustainable way.
